About
I remember seeing Jackson splatter paintings rather early on, as he had just died and my parents drug us to his exhibitions around New York and Chicago. I remember how thick the paint was on some of them. It made me think of shredded wheat or coconut or maybe crunched up cardboard with bits of this and that in it but since I was there, I can report to you, most people would sit a good 20 feet away from his paintings to get “The full effect.” Weird, since as a child, I was more interested in the bits of junk! LOL
It’s nearly impossible to portray 3D splatter paintings in 2D but I’ve done my best to get the full effect. These renderings are as close as I can come to my portrayal of my impressions of in the era of modern art. Enjoy!
