Pins of different colours mean different things, as do the candles. To use a doll properly, one has to place something of that person on or in the doll, pins of the appropriate colour are stabbed in. The priestess, will then stare into the picture of the person they desire, while burning sage and such. If done correctly the thoughts should come true. Letters can be used as well in place of prayers if pinned to the doll.
