We Love The Arts! at Cedar Hil

The “We Love the Arts!” Shop is a fundraiser for the Village at Cedar Hill resident art program originally started in 2000 and revived in 2019, to encourage our residents to express their creativity no matter their age or level of experience, from “the first time I’ve ever picked up a paintbrush” to lifelong professional artist or illustrator. Our artists include residents with physical disabilities and other health issues that affect their mobility and agility; some have Alzheimer’s and other dementias; while others have only just now discovered their passion. Their inspiration comes from donated materials, old notecards and calendars, photographs, and sometimes from each other. Many of these works are collaborations with several artists while others are all one person. All proceeds from these sales benefit the Village Art and Activities Fund. The Village at Cedar Hill is part of the larger Cedar Hill Continuing Care Community in historic Windsor, Vermont.
