About
The Pride Cartoon is the Award-Winning Reality Cat Cartoon Starring Crazy Johnny.
The Pride is written and illustrated by Jane Sayre Denny, a life-long cat magnet turned graphic stenographer (NOT that crazy cat lady!)
The strip was inspired by and stars Crazy Johnny, the kooky, deaf, albino cat who materialized out of thin air at the apartment door one midnight as if through a wormhole, and turned reality on its ear.
The cats are real, the episodes really happened.
The strip's website (www.thepridecartoon.com) features cartoons, bios of the characters, a blog, episodes of The Real HouseCats of Queens County, and an occasional script from The Young and the Feral (a "soap opera" that follows the dramas of the feral cats of the pride's home street in NYC).
The Pride Cartoon Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/The-Pride-Cartoon-104176919655596) features stories, cartoons, contests, and all kinds of cat fun and info.
The Pride Cartoon won the 2007 Cat Writers' Association Muse Medallion for Best Cartoon, and CWA Certificate of Excellence for best website or news magazine.
A portion of every sale goes to help homeless and rescued cats in NYC. 24-hour schlep-free, guilt-free shopping for crazy cat people!
