In being a doting caretaker of exotic and wild animals, the years spent with my unique companions inspired me to have an educational and entertaining website about lizards. My scaly best friend, Lil' Murph of Lizardplanet.com, is the inspiration behind our "meta-MURPH-osis" collection within The Dizzy Butterfly Emporium. It is to honor our reptilian friends. How we got the 🦋 name: When I decided to open a new online store, caring for my loving dad with dementia during his final year halted it. During the summer of his passing, the amount of butterflies fluttering around me was very unusual! When I created a memorial board for his Celebration of Life, I placed 3D butterfly stickers around his photos for what they symbolize. As I designed his board outside for creative space with Murph by my side, a butterfly landed on it! Well, that was it, having been contemplating what to name this new endeavor, "The Dizzy Butterfly" felt perfect, and it has grown into an emporium!
