SunPug

In January 2013, we adopted a senior gentleman-pug named Murphy, age 8, from a local rescue. We had nearly 7 wonderful years together; he passed away in August 2019, just a few months shy of his 15th birthday. One of my many nicknames for him was Sun Pug, because of how much he loved basking in the sun, whether for an afternoon nap or a day at the beach. During a difficult time, I started drawing silly pug pictures as a way to both grieve and celebrate my little buddy and use art as therapy. Eventually these creations moved from spontaneous crayon drawings to digital art, and an online platform.
