Rising is a new online digital magazine dedicated to showcasing independent musicians worldwide. We are supporting independent musicians and bands that have incredible talent but do not have the backing and resources of a major label. The new age of online music consists of self marketing on social networks, digital downloads and the artist often selling cds and merchandise at live performances. We want to start a worldwide movement to support independent musical artists in all genres. We believe that the revenue from music sales should go straight from the fan to the artist. The magazine will emphasize photos with a fresh new twist, capturing the heart and personality of the artists. The interviews are cutting edge and unique, showing the artist in their creative environment, what makes them tick beyond the face they show to the world. As part of our effort to provide increased awareness and support for independent musicians, we a planning a “Support Indie Music” feature for the magazine. We believe our magazine will help send revenue straight back to the artists themselves. We provide live links to each artist's music retail sites, and online presence.
