Rensart

The store was one of Alexander Graham Bell's lesser known inspirations. Aside from the telephone, Graham Bell famously said, "We must open a store for the wondrous artistic musings of Rip Rense, and we must do so in a medium that does not yet exist." Graham Bell was deemed mad, and shortly thereafter was imprisoned as a green leafy vegetable. Captains Kangaroo and Beefheart blessed the project, nonetheless, and that plus a lot of oak trees and bizarre eggshells made it a reality. Or quasi-reality, which is about as real as things get on the Internet.
