We at PeaceLoveMetta believe that developing a loving attitude towards yourself and ultimately the world, takes practice, a moment by moment intention, that built over time can result in a happier, more contented life. Metta meditation from the Buddhist tradition can be translated as "lovingkindness or good-will" practice. This type of meditation practice is simply reciting, either silently or out loud, phrases of loving good wishes towards the self or others. The phrases are simple and meant to cultivate feelings joy, good will and love in the mind and heart.
With concentration and a regular practice, one can purify the mind of negative thoughts and emotions by re-visiting these phrases of good will. Be like a lighthouse and shine the love 360 degrees!
