This store started about 17 years ago for a very simple reason: I wanted merchandise for my band. At the time, the goal wasn’t to build a business or become a brand. I just wanted to make shirts and designs that captured the feeling of the music, the humor, the energy, and the strange ideas bouncing around in my head. Some designs were serious, some were experimental, and some existed simply because they made me laugh. Then something unexpected happened. People started buying the shirts even when they had never heard the band before. That was a weird and encouraging moment. It meant the designs were able to stand on their own. The art, symbols, jokes, textures, and concepts connected with people independently of the music that inspired them. Over time, the store became less about “band merch” and more about creative artifacts from a lifetime of interests colliding together. Music. Programming. Metal. Systems. Philosophy. Humor. Strange ideas. Late-night experiments. Half-finished concepts that somehow turned into finished designs. A lot of what ends up here comes from curiosity. Sometimes it starts with a riff on guitar, a sketch, a conversation, a technical idea, or a random thought that refuses to leave my brain alone until I make something from it. I’ve never been especially interested in chasing trends or building polished corporate branding. I like things that feel human, unusual, honest, and a little imperfect.
