In 2009, to pay homage to Dr. Nina Simone, Ms. Ode' wrote a play, "Nina Simone In Her Own Words." In April 2010, Ozara received a call from the Experience (The Nina Simone Estate), requesting that she present her play during the 10 day tribute to Nina Simone. With complete joy and utter disbelief Ms. Ode' premiered the play in front of an awaiting audience. We desire to take the full production of the play on a 14 city tour beginning in 2011. Our next workshop will be presented at the Hyatt Regency, Downtown Atlanta during the 4th Int'l Soul Music Summit- August 19, 2010.
