Jamie Bourgeois-McNealley lives on the South Eastern Coast of Massachusetts. As a New England native she has always felt the charisma of the great variety of natural features offered in her home state and throughout New England. Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, Jamie studied at Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Island as a business major. She worked in the Managed care field for years until she started her family. During that time photography has always been a part of her life and has been enhanced by the opportunities for all four seasons travel and finding new subjects and interests to expand her photographic endeavors. Being a mother to three beautiful babies over the past several years has provided experiences that have added to her repertoire of skills and versatility in thinking. Whether it is children, seascapes, vineyards, forest, in winter, spring, summer, fall and all that in between, the pursuit of "fresh, natural and alive" subjects and scenes has inspired Jamie’s work. She has shown a special fascination in her most recent works with the seascapes and the landscapes of New England. Jamie's work offers a simplistic, rich view of life. She proclaims her work as sensitive photography dedicated to bringing otherwise little noticed scenes to the public eye. Jamie has brought the peace and tranquillity of nature into so many homes. Her images hold the viewer with their unadulterated splendor and visual appeal that provide the sweet explanation of nature's many gifts.
