The name Lively La'Rae Designs comes from this creative mind of mine. La'Rae is my middle name and I felt that the word “lively” best describes how I would want my small business to be known as - exciting cheerful, vivid and bright. I am an interior designer by training, small business owner by trade, and all around creative person by luck. Someone once asked me, "Do you do something creative every single day!?" The more I thought about it, the more I thought that, yes, that was pretty much the case. I work your typical 8am to 5pm job, Monday through Friday but for the most part, I do, find something to fulfill my creative juices almost every single day. How It All Started: After purchasing our first home all I could think about was decorating it. As I was searching for home decor I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to make my own. To my surprise, I loved it. I loved designing, creating and painting. I quickly ran out of space and that is when I realized I needed to make designs and signs for others. I started donating a few and then I started selling to friends and family. It’s been a dream come true to be able to create for others. I love the reactions I get from customers when they see their finished product. It makes me so happy to see the joy that I can bring to them from something I have so much passion for. I dedicate so much of my time to make each design as special as I can for my customers. It's so nice when they appreciate it, just as much as I appreciate them. They are what enables me to continue to create and design every day, and for that...I am oh so grateful! That's what brought me here, to create for all of you lovely human beings!
