Jo Sargisson

Art has been a huge part of Jo’s life for as long as she can remember, selling her designs at an early age to school friends. She studied at Somerset College and graduated with a degree in surface design. Her work has sold here in the UK and abroad, with several solo exhibitions in Devon. Jo’s work currently uses mixed media to create stunning, original designs with vibrant and exciting colours. Her inspiration come from images in her mind that she plays with, tweaking and juggling the design and colours until they fall exhausted onto the paper, where they relax and settle. She is at present working on turning sunflowers into funflowers. Jo collages using original prints taken from my paintings, with coloured pencil and marker pens completing the design.
