HOPLON store

"HOPLON" store is dedicated mainly to ancient Greek military history. Hoplon was the word ancient Greeks used to describe their shields. In today's Greek language the word describes all kind of weapons used in combat from guns to heavy artillery. That shows how important was the shield for ancient Greek warriors, since it's use to keep the troops (hoplites) formation (phalanx) tight as one body, was extremely critical in battlefield.
