This past year, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease known as Hashimoto's Disease. As both a college student and someone who likes to stay productive, I found myself limited by my illness and frustrated with my lack of independence because of it. However, I know I'm not alone in this type of fight. Chronic conditions are unfortunately common ailments many people fight in secret. The more I fought to receive better treatment for my illness, the more I decided I wanted to be unapologetic about my disease. I want people to feel they can reclaim their health in a way that's beautiful, sarcastic, and fashionable so they don't feel they can express their health how they see fit. In no way do I want bad health or chronic conditions to appear "trendy," but rather have fashion be an outlet for other spoonies out there to express their health. Most of my clothing line ranges from snarky one-liners to items that express your health in a fashionable and pretty way. Make what my designs are as you wish and I hope you can find some strength in making your condition no longer seem like a weakness, but the physical proof of how strong you are.
