I enjoy taking macro photos of flowers because I feel as if I am capturing its ephemeral beauty. That moment, that time, that day, a snapshot of its life. I want to share these images for the enjoyment of others as well. I started taking macro photos of flowers a few years ago and quickly upgraded my camera to a Sony Nex-5N to capture better details. Now I take pictures of flowers every weekend when I go hiking with my husband in Shenandoah National Park with a Sony A7 camera and Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro G OSS lens.
