About

Chef Bryce Taylor is a fourteen year old Teen Chef and Baltimore native who is well on his way in pursuit of his dreams of having a high-powered career in the world of Culinary Arts. He is passionate about cooking and promoting fun and healthy recipes for his peers. Chef Bryce began cooking with his mother at the tender age of 5, when he mastered his very first dish – the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. From there, his passion and flare for cooking and creating food-art naturally began to blossom. He began watching cooking shows and online food tutorials to sharpen his skills by learning new techniques and staying current on cooking methodologies in the kitchen. He loves to impart his own creative ideas as he creates unique and tasty cuisines for his family and friends. With undeniable talent, his mother allowed him to begin formal culinary training with some of Baltimore's most well-renowned and respected Chefs. With the culinary training that Chef Bryce received, he decided to step out on faith and auditioned for the first season of the hit Food Network Show, "Chopped Junior", where he competed and advanced to become a finalist on Espisode 1. After that appearance, his star quickly began to rise in the culinary world and in his community. As a child Bryce endured bullying from his peers because of his weight. With courage Bryce turned a very negative situation into something positive and decided that it was his personal mission to show kids how to prepare their own healthy meals and to make cooking fun. The producers at WBAL Channel 2 news in Baltimore admired what Bryce was promoting in his community and invited him to record a news segment, "Community Crisis- Childhood Obesity". In the segment, Chef Bryce prepared and introduced kids to fun and healthy recipes, for both meal and healthy snack alternatives to eating junk food. Chef Bryce Taylor is a cool teen chef who wants to share his love of food with the world.
