Hello, I am Diane of Diane Johnnie Designs. The "Johnnie" in my birth name comes from my dad whose birth name was Johnnie and not John, so unique. As a little girl, I absolutely did not like having a boy's name for my middle name. Now that I am older I realize what an honor it was to be named after my daddy. In all of my creative adventures, whenever I think of a creative name to brand my work I often find out the name is already taken. So a few years ago, I began to realize, wait a minute I am unique (as each of us are). Why not use my birth name of Diane Johnnie?
