BLACK WALL $TREET LINE

The "Black Wall Street" phenomenon was an amazing reality that spread across the nation back in the early 1900's which reached an all time high in the 1920's. The early conceptualization and then manifestation of a “Black Wall Street” business model is a historic and very iconic part of “Black History” that we have yet to fully emulate again and has been played down and trivialized in our traditional school systems. This novel black community development lifestyle was very unique on several enterprising ingenious levels and was truly something that flourished against all odds. As a matter of fact, the "Black Wall Street" reality grew and sustained itself at the time with much greater challenges back then than black folks have had to endure today. The true byproduct of the “Black Wall Street” phenomenon were great black entrepreneurs, brilliant black community leaders, black land developers and literal “Black Kingdom Builders”. These anointed souls were symbolic of all the finest economic independent teachings of the greatest black minds and leaders of the times, not the least of which would have to include the incomparable black business visionary “Marcus Garvey”. This commemorative "Black Wall Street Line" is an original collection of artwork dedicated to all the great black businessmen and businesswomen who laid the foundation for the modern day black business people of today.
