AIS Photography

Hi there, and welcome to AIS Photography. My name is Anthony. In case you were wondering, "AIS" stems from my first, middle, and last initials. It's pronounced, "Ace." From a young age, I was told that I could never sit still. My parents, teachers, friends, and siblings all said the same. It's true - I can't sit still. I can't stay in one place for too long - I'm always wondering what's around the corner, what's down the street, what's on the other side of the world, and what surprises are in store for me there. You could say that I am ill with curiosity. My desire to explore every corner of the world is the reason I love to spend time away from home, either surrounded by nature or getting lost in a vast metropolis, exploring the unique culture, history, and lifestyle of each city I visit. My adventures in photography have taken place from as close as two blocks from my home in Minnesota to as far as Copenhagen, Denmark and Taipei, Taiwan. The world is vast, with a myriad of wonders that I've been fortunate to have visited. I feel that the memories of such places can be crystallized by a quality photograph. A photograph that, at a moments' glance, can make feel like you are living in it; standing right there on the beach listening to the waves crash, or hearing the sounds of busy traffic while gazing at an impressive city skyline against the sunset. I've turned to photography as a means to put the images in my memory on paper. I want to share these photos with you through AIS Photography, and hope that you'll enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I did taking them. When I'm not out and about snapping photos, I am working towards my degree in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I also love long-distance running, tennis, weightlifting, and making beer. I hope you enjoy the photos. Thanks for stopping by!
