"Oh Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad" is a short ghost story by M. R. James, in which a man is attacked by a creature made of bedsheets after blowing a mysterious whistle he finds at an archaeological site. The Latin phrase "QUE EST ISTE QUI UENIT" means "Who is this that is coming?" and the writing on the back can be read "Fur: flabis, flebis", which means "Thief, if you shall blow, you shall weep". Both are inscriptions found on the whistle in the story.
