I wanted to paint something with very October feels. It started with a simple still life of some marigolds from the yard and evolved into this...more complicated painting. The thought was all about memories of pets we have lost, and what a witches familiars might mean to her still, even after they have passed away. People so often misconstrue things, taking them in at first glance and not considering the deeper meaning...they might look at this and think and evil witch sacrificing an animal...but This art is about honouring the spirits of beloved kitties who have gone over that rainbow bridge in a natural way, and the fire of their memories living on in those of us still around.
mediums used: watercolor, gouche, fine liner pens, and a gold prismacolor pencil

OMG my order exceeded my expectation’s. My products are beautiful, they were done soo well. The cushion I did was for my nephews birthday, who had his little pet chapoodle for just over 15yrs, she passed last yr. So I had some special photos as well as a photo of her paw prints and hair put on the cushion. I wanted to make it special for him. His birthday is not until Mon 27th so he hasn’t seen it yet. When he opens his present on the his special day, we are all going to have a little cry, all because of the cushion and how well it was made to bring out the best memories we have of our little Princess.
So thank you soo much for the work you did, and I will most definitely be using you again for one of my other products.
