The moon hung low in the sky, casting an eerie glow on the sleepy farm. Two young farmers, their faces lit by the moonlight, stood tall, their shoulders straining under the weight of a colossal, grinning pumpkin. The pumpkin, larger than any they'd ever seen, seemed to beam with a mischievous life of its own. - A wise old owl perched atop the pumpkin's stem, its keen eyes watching the scene with silent approval. A sleek black cat, a purring shadow, followed closely behind the children, its eyes fixed on the giant fruit. - As the children carried their extraordinary harvest towards the farmhouse, the pumpkin's wide grin seemed to grow wider, its eyes twinkling with a mysterious light. It was as if the pumpkin, the owl, and the cat were all part of a secret, magical night, a Halloween night unlike any other. - This work 1900-1916 is in the public domain in the United States because it was published (or registered with the U.S. Copyright Office) before January 1, 1927.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
