This original art drawing was inspired by lyrics from the Tori Amos song "Crucify". The lyric is "you're just an empty cage girl if you kill the bird". Human rib cage with a bleeding heart and dead bird offers up a surreal gothic horror piece. Done with pencil and coloured pencil on bristol board.
