Art Deco Modified Antoine Bourdelle French Art Poster

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The world saw Art Deco in April 1925 at the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes (International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts) in Paris. For six months, based on my research, the Exposition had 15,000 exhibitors from around the world and millions upon millions of visitors. The French government, spearheaded by the Ministry of Fine Arts and the Ministère Du Commerce Et De l'industrie (Ministry of Commerce and Industry), sponsored and organised the event, as the Société des Artistes Décorateurs (The Society of Decorative Artists) had petitioned the French government for an event wherein their talents would be seen. WWI pushed the exhibition from 1915 to 1925, and many of us, to this day, more than 100 years later, continue to appreciate the unique style that became Art Deco. This design was created by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle specifically for this artistic experience. Monsieur Bourdelle, born in 1861 and passed in 1929, managed to create more than 800 sculptures and 6,000 works on paper! I have slightly altered the original "Ministère Du Commerce Et De L'industrie" poster from its original version as seen in the public domain. The image and text has been straightened; what appeared to be creases on the original work has been removed, as well as fine print at the bottom; the image has been lightened for visual clarity; Art Deco-style motifs have been strategically placed; and finally, there is an addition of two borders and an Art Deco-inspired pattern in complimentary colours of black, brown, and ivory to surround it for a gorgeous eye-catching artwork on an 18" x 24" frameable poster that looks historical, beautifully aged, and yet is stylish for any modern or eclectic design style! *For optimum aesthetic clarity when purchasing as a digital download, it is recommended that you maintain the 18" x 24" size or smaller.
