About This Design

Zíngaras | Rafael Barradas Card

Zíngaras | Rafael Barradas Card

Zíngaras (1919) by Rafael Barradas is a vibrant modernist painting depicting Romani women in dynamic, abstracted forms. Barradas uses bold colours, geometric shapes, and expressive lines to convey movement and energy, reflecting his avant-garde style and interest in Cubist and Futurist influences. The painting captures both the cultural essence of its subjects and the decorative, rhythmic qualities of early 20th-century modern art.
