I'm running to be on County Transportation Board. Having the button is such a cool way to start the conversation, please vote next month and while you're voting please vote for me. But, please vote! I'm a little amazed how often the conversation goes well beyond that. I truly believe I'm gaining votes for myself and helping to raise voter turnout at the same time. Ask me again May 17. Last special election, more than 2/3rds of the voters couldn't be bothered get the ballots that were mailed to them back in the mailbox.
