Yooperlite hunter design. Customise to your own colours. Yooperlite is a rare variety of igneous rock that fluoresce bright colours when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light. It was first found on the shore of Lake Superior in Upper Michigan hence the name. It looks like a grey or speckled rock under normal light, but glows orange, red, pink, or yellow when exposed to UV light. It is a Sodalite-rich syenite, an igneous rock formed from volcanic activity around a billion years ago. Use a UV flashlight to scan the lakeshore in the evening or early morning.
