Anciently it is said that there existed a great Fire Dragon named Kaji, who breathed flames that surpassed all of his kind, in heat and intensity. He was known as a Master Dragon because he held dominion over the element of fire and he reigned as King over his northern clan. He was greatly honoured by the Dragon-folk and People alike, and still is, today.
The Kanji symbol for "Dragon" features beside the fantastical beastie. This work of art by Skye Ryan-Evans, was adapted to commemorate the upcoming Year of the Dragon in 2012 to pay tribute to all Dragon people everywhere.
25% of royalties from the sale of this beautiful canvas print is donated to the Nippon Red Cross (in Japan) to help raise funding for the recovery effort from the recent Earthquake, Tsunami and Nuclear events there.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
