View of the Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon Coast. It was made in Paris, France, in 1868 and shipped to Oregon and was first lit in 1873. It is 93 feet tall, which makes it the tallest lighthouse in Oregon. In its early days it was known as the Cape Foulweather Lighthouse. It's full of history and also appeared in several movies. A very popular spot to visit on the Oregon coast! Photo taken on a beautiful day in October 2021.
