View of the back of the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. It was built in 1871 and then decommissioned in 1874. It is the oldest historic wooden lighthouse still standing in Oregon and believed to be the oldest structure in Newport. This is the only lighthouse still existing in Oregon that has living quarters attached, and inside they have it set up with old furniture to give it an authentic feel of how it was to live back then. A very unique & cute treasure of Newport, Oregon! Photo taken September 2022.
