“Golden Chole Maple” is the fifth painting in a radiograph tree series by Lizzy Rainey, R.T.(R), of Lafayette, Indiana. Inspired by a radiographic image of a surgical cholangiogram this painting creates the branches of an old maple tree tangled within the surrounding vessels. By utilising the greenish tones inspired by the deep hue yellows and oranges of the gallbladder itself she has created a portrait of sunlight pouring through the leaves of a golden maple tree. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
