This is a piece of a poem by Eugene Field, Sr. (1850 – 1895) an American writer best known for his children's poetry and humourous essays. He was known as the "poet of childhood." The poem is in an original font "Arts And Crafts GS". This font is loosely inspired by the decorative lettering of the Scottish Arts And Crafts Movement artists Jessie Marion King (1876 - 1949), and Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 - 1928) of the Glasgow School.
The Scottish, or Glasgow school style was a countermovement to mainstream Art Nouveau.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
