A pair of beautiful arched doors welcome worshipers to St. James Episcopal Church in Woodstock, Vermont. Beautiful flowers in pots adorn each side of the entrances. Established on the green in Woodstock, Vermont in 1827, St. James is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Vermont, a part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. The present church was built in 1907, designed in English Gothic style and constructed from local stone. Woodstock was named "The Prettiest Small Town in America" by a magazine, and it lives up to its billing with abundant flowers, rolling forested hills and charming buildings throughout the village.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
