Radio engineer Fred Carson was on a trip to tibet when he met an ancient yogi. After succeeding in a series of tests that proved his physical, mental, and moral strength, Fred was given a magic ring by the yogi. The ring gave Fred incredible strength and speed, as well as allowing him to leap hundreds of yards and withstand explosives and bullets. He used these powers for the betterment of humanity as Wonder Man! This character is famous both for having been created by Will Eisner and for having been the cause of a court case when DC Comics sued publisher Fox Features for copying Superman.
