My seven words story: When I forgave him, he got saved. When someone hurt you so much, it is difficult to forgive but the Lord commanded us to forgive others just as He forgives you (and me). Forgiveness is a freedom. It is receiving the heart of Jesus and living in God's perspective of love. When I did truly forgive someone, Jesus saved him and got baptized. Forgiveness is not the absence of pain. To forgive someone who incredibly hurt you is a divine intervention. We must realize that we are in need of forgiveness and acknowledge the pain, accept the reality, decide to forgive, and move forward. Prayer is the key. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14, NKJV
