It is a sunny spring day. A young woman is sitting on the wall along the bank of the river Rhone. She is deep into reading a book, oblivious to us walking by. Her bicycle leans nearby against the wall. This painting is one of my series capturing memories from our trip to France 2008.

This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
