About This Design

Wolf Warrior Poster

Wolf Warrior Poster

Shadowland Foundation is a non-profit organisation in Lake Hughes, CA whose mission is to save wolves - to "Educate not Eradicate." Featuring Takoda (meaning Friend to Everyone) is the Alpha Male of the pack and father to the “six pack." He is an Arctic/Mackenzie with a pitch black father. He epitomises the qualities of a “leader of the pack” and is a true friend to everyone. Since the birth of his pups he has been nursemaid, babysitter, teacher, playmate and tough disciplinarian. He eats last and shares his food if his pups are still hungry. He has a deep, soulful, irresistible, penetrating howl. Fun wolf facts: The Alpha Female and Male mate for life. The female chooses where she makes her den which means she also chooses the packs territory. She is responsible for the very survival of the pack. Wolves sit in the middle of our ecosystem and protect all living things; in fact they all flourish when wolves are present. Wolves can hear up to 5 miles away. As defensive creatures, they will howl as a warning to let you know you are approaching too close. All proceeds from purchases help care for the pack and our ongoing wolf education and outreach programs.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
