Witty Typographic Birthday Card

This greeting card features the phrase “THOU ART SO OLDE” stacked in tall black letters on a soft creamy background, turning the message into the main focal point. A rich crimson frame wraps the edges with curling decorative details, like something you’d find on an old printed page, but with a wink that suits a birthday 🎂. Red leafy sprigs, tiny berries, and small floral shapes weave through the open spaces, nudging up against the letters as if they’re leaning in close like old friends. The contrast between the sturdy black text and the lively red ornamentation gives the layout a cosy, teasing energy, like affectionate ribbing shared at a party 🎉. The lettering sits centred, with even spacing between the lines, while the border keeps everything neatly contained without feeling stiff. Fine line variations and scattered dot accents add a drawn-in-ink look, and the red details curl around the letter edges as though they’re gently holding the words in place. The bottom area shows more clustered red leaves and dots tucked into the corners of the crimson border.
