Winnekenni Park Magnet

A beautiful fall day spent exploring the trails of Winnekenni Park in Haverhill, MA. I love fall in New England, and the feel of this photo is exactly why. October is usually when things start to cool down in New England, but in a way, they start to warm up as well. We trade the refreshing chill of the air conditioning for cozy blankets, iced coffee becomes warm tea, and shorts and flip flops are exchanged for cozy sweaters and socks. This photo represents all of that to me. The cool blues of the sky and its reflection in the lake indicate the cool change in the air from summer, while the contrasting orange promises the warmth of what's to come. Truly my favorite time of year in New England!
