Winged Unicorn Pegasus Moon Horse Snows Tir'Rielle A Photomanipulation. Not a drawing Placed Second place in the Unicorn Clubs Unicorns in the Snow contest. Please don't steal art. I might use this on my RPG game: http://s7.zetaboards.com/Blood_and_Horn/index/ until then, its a contest piece and such. The moon resides on the top of the island's highest mountains. It was in this place only that the snow falls, and the only place on the island blessed with true winter. Perhaps the snow is truly shards of moondust, or maybe bits of unicorn magic slipping away from solid bodies only to become a soft dust. No one knows. Though it is cold, the snow never melts, it is as though a permanent enchantment has kept the snow in its permanently frosty grip. Fine too is the snow, in huge drifts it sometimes rises up at a single wing's flap. Though it has a slight icy chill, the snows of Tir'Rielle are more luminescent and more bright in the moonlight than any other snow. Every once in a while, huge drifts of glittering snow dance across on a soft zephyr, creating alabaster plumes that can be seen through the island. And so it is, when the moon is meant to be full, the unicorn's powers grow. The greatest Mare, the Ancient One, the Shifting Queen, the Unicorn Goddess, the Abathia herself, goes to this cold place and blesses the moon, allowing it to rise and illumine the island even in the darkest of times. -------------------------------------------------------------- About the Piece Photoshop CS3 Photomanipulation (Welcome to a lovely little world I have made up) Abathia is a divine winged unicorn goddess who resides on the island of Tir'Rielle. She can shapeshift. This pure white form is her lunar form. This is part of the stable for the ~HorseArt-RPG and I decided to illustrate parts of my land so that people would be able to "visit places" in it. It usually lies within a great mist, far in the unknown places, but it travels where it needs to in order to make its precious animals available to meet other equines. It is a magical island that shifts from place to place wherever it is needed. The island is actually a volcano with its centre an equine paradise. The border of the island is a thick layer of mist. Tir'Rielle is a thick forest with steaming warm hot pools, some waterfalls, crystals growing like plants from the ground and strange lights from fae that reside throughout the forest.
