An adult Great Blue Heron in pursuit of another Heron encroaching on his territory, flew directly over my head this afternoon. Luckily I had been photographing Canada Geese just seconds before, and caught this shot of the cranky bird hot on the feathered heels of his offending neighbour. It gave me pause for thought because I wasn't sure if I would capture the shot clearly, but tried anyway, hence... "If in doubt, just wing it!" lol 25% of proceeds from the sale of this poster benefit the wonderful wildlife rescue group at the Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society here on Vancouver Island, where this picture was taken. Thanks for helping me to help them.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
