The windmills look so tiny from Steptoe Butte but they are actually about 300 feet tall. These are the Palouse Hills from Steptoe Butte in Eastern Washington. A narrow rickety road but worth traversing! It is a state park so be sure to have your Discover Pass with you! Each green you see in the photo is a different crop.
