The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her. Unfortunately my first order was deemed lost in the mail which meant it didn't arrive in time to give my daughter when she finished Uni.
