William Morris Vintage Honeysuckle Pattern Fabric

This is a digitally enhanced print derived from an antique 1883 block printed Honeysuckle floral pattern designed by William Morris. William Morris was a Victorian era poet, novelist, textile designer and an important figure of the British Arts and Crafts Movement. His designs had a mediaeval-inspired aesthetic and respect for hand-craftsmanship and traditional textile arts. He was the founding figure of Morris & Co., and Kelmscott Press. He was close friends to many Pre-Raphaelite artists such as Edward Burne-Jones and Dante Gabriel Rossetti. You can customise the size of the pattern. Although the default background colour is derived from the original design, you can customise this colour to fit your decor.

I bought this fabric to make some homewares for a Citroen fanatic. Hit the spot perfectly. Quality base fabric and the car graphics are well done. Great printing, colours as I expected. I did not a border of unprinted fabric around the graphics which didn’t worry me but may affect some. The graphic does not spread from selvedge to selvedge.
