William Morris was one of the most influential voices in Victorian art and architecture, and his influence spread far into the 20th century in the form of the Arts and Crafts Movement that he helped spawn. Colourful orange and yellow Iris vines are the prominent feature in this design. There are many layers to the design. The background is a deep blue with a lighter blue, feathery vine design between the background and the Iris vines.
