The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
