William Morris Cray Wallpaper Pattern Cutting Board
The Cray design is one of William Morris's classic wallpapers from the 1800s. It is detailed in rich blues and reds. It was designed in 1884 and was one of the more popular wallpapers that hung in Victorian homes. William Morris was England's most famous nineteenth century textile designer. Morris' wallpapers showed his love of nature, which was the focus of all of his designs, and was a member of the arts and crafts movement. I bought two of these cutting boards in October to put in my bathroom to stand my soaps and candles on. The colours match the colours in my bathroom perfectly, so I have ordered another one to use as a display stand for the statue I have in the bathroom.
They are very well made, the colours are lovely and although they're called a chopping board, I think they look wonderful as display pieces for any sort of decoration in any room.
I highly recommend them. The colours are wonderful and I love the combination of the two shades of blue, which exactly match the colours I've painted my bathroom.
