William Morris Compton Wallpaper Classic Coffee Mug

The green and red Compton wallpaper design is by William Morris. William Morris designed wallpaper and textiles in the 1800s; this is one of his decorative floral designs that he produced in 1887. He was an English decorative designer, perhaps the most noteable wallpaper designers of his time, a member of the pre-raphaelite designers. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
